Elementary
Science and Technology Magnet School takes great pride in incorporating
technology into the everyday curriculum of our district.
The
students
of B.E.S.T. have the opportunity to create and maintain a electronic
portfolio
of their school work on our school's file server. The students
create
and save a variety of projects such as Power Point projects on states,
science experiments or creative writing documents.
The tools
we utilize are 6 computers in each classroom, 10 computers in our
Science
Lab and a computer lab of 25. All of the computers are Internet
accessable.
The Fine Arts Deptartment teachers have 2-5 computers in their
rooms.
We also have several digital camers, camcorders, large monitors, 50
portable
keyboards and a weather station.
