5th Grade Class Project
Below a 5th grade class explores "rocks" they have made.  They are looking for different "minerals".  This lesson showed that rocks are made up of individual minerals and that the minerals are the bases for rocks.

5th Grade Class Project
5th grade class is participating in the Junk Food Rat experiment.  They will have a control rat eating healthy food and another rat will eat junk food.  The hypothesis is that the healthy food rat (control) will weigh more than the junk food rat.  They will weigh them and measure their tails once a week.  The experiment will last approximately 5 weeks.  The rats are supplied by the Dairy Council.

Students from the room are preparing the meal for the rats!
