Hello, I am Joycelyn Strickland and I have been a Banneker Panther since I was in the Kindergarten class of 1972.  I also attended Arowhead, Washingotn, Emporia State University and Kansas State University.  I have aMaster's Degree in Multicultural Education.  I LOVE my job and I have been a teacher at Banneker since 1989.  My favorite color is yellow and I love seafood.  My teaching creed is the Four C's of Education - Competence, Creativity, Compassion and Character.  I expect and give the BEST! I have two children, a boy and a girl. My favorite subjects are Reading & Writing. I stand for excellence in education and in behavior. I enjoy working in partnership with parents to make each child successful.
